Hope, Cascades & Canyons Emergency Response Updates

UPDATE Sunday, November 28th, 4:00PM | The District of Hope has officially declared a Local State of Emergency. The Province of British Columbia has directed that any evacuees are to register either in person at the Abbotsford Tradex (1190 Cornell Street, Abbotsford, BC) or online at ess.gov.bc.ca.

As you all may already know, Hope, Cascades & Canyons and its surrounding area is currently facing severe weather causing dangerous and destructive events. We encourage all who are in the area to stay home or in any safe shelter they have access to unless it is absolutely necessary to go elsewhere.

Below we have listed some helpful information and resources for those affected by this extreme weather and will continue to update it as we learn more:

Sandbags

The District is providing sand and sandbags for all of those in need near the intersection of 7th Avenue & Kawkawa Lake Road, outside of the ballpark.
