COQUIHALLA SUMMIT RECREATION AREA: blanketed by heavy snow, this area provides endless opportunities for winter sport. Snowmobiling, snowshoeing, ice climbing, and back country skiing are popular pursuits in this scenic, snowy haven. Winter camping is allowed in this region, and traditionally occurs at Falls Lake, but please be aware there are no facilities available and there are extreme and changing weather conditions in this area. Before you head out, check out the BC Parks Webpage on this area.
