From humble beginnings as a hospital tuck shop to today’s Little Shop of Hope, the Fraser Canyon Hospital’s Auxiliary Gift Shop has come a long way over its 60+ years in operation! Once offering conventional giftware, the shop has been reinvented to include the latest in fashionable clothing and accessories thanks to Manager Lynda Beecham and Marketing Manager Nancy Hutsul.

In collaboration with hospital administration, Lynda and Nancy outfit the shop with popular items that help provide funding to support and strengthen patient care services and enable the purchase of vital equipment. Their tireless efforts, alongside the diligent work of local auxiliary volunteers, have benefitted countless patients of Fraser Canyon Hospital as well as residents of the Fraser Hope Lodge.

And the community has responded in part, showing tremendous support by coming out in droves for the auxiliary’s fundraising events – such as the beloved Spring Fashion Show – and frequenting the newly expanded shop. A whole new wing was recently opened to provide an even larger quantity and selection of products!
